Authentication, Portal Access & Getting Started

Admin Core
Go to Dashboard →

The Route Bleue Brand Portal separates public brand discovery from protected Partner/Internal assets and the Administrative Console (/admin). Administrators can sign in via the dedicated Admin Login page or the frontend Login modal.

01.1Signing In to the Admin Console

Navigate to /admin/login and sign in with your authorized email address and password (default Super Admin: marketing@routebleueparfums.com).

01.2Using the "Preview Team View" Simulator

Located in the top Admin header bar, Super Admins can switch the "Preview Team View" dropdown between Super Admin (Default), IT Team Access, and Marketing Team Access. The left sidebar immediately updates to show the exact modules visible to that team.

01.3Dark & Light Theme Switcher

Click the moon/sun toggle switch in the top-right header bar to switch the Admin Console between Dark Mode and Light Mode.

01.4Self-Service Password Updates

Signed-in users on the public website can click "Password" in the top navigation bar at any time to change their own account password. Administrators can also change the primary admin password in Admin → Global Settings.

Quick Tip — Default Super Admin Account

The primary Super Admin account is marketing@routebleueparfums.com. You can update its password in Admin → Global Settings → Administrator Password, or manage additional Super Admin accounts in Admin → Users & Team Roles.

Access Control
Open Team Roles & Checkboxes →

Internal staff are organized into three core Team Categories — Super Admin, IT, and Marketing — alongside External Partner roles. Super Admins can define the exact level of access for each team by clicking checkboxes in the live permission matrix.

03.1Step 1 — Open the Checkbox Permission Matrix

Go to Admin → Users & Team Roles (/admin/users). Ensure the "Super Admin — Define Team Roles & Level of Access" panel is visible (use the "Configure Team Roles & Checkboxes" button to toggle it).

03.2Step 2 — Click Checkboxes to Allow or Restrict Modules

Each row represents one of the 11 portal permissions, and each column represents a team (Super Admin, IT, Marketing). Click any checkbox to toggle between "Allowed" (green) and "Off". Changes save immediately to the database and update the sidebar in real time.

03.3Step 3 — Grant All, Clear All, or Include External Roles

Use the "All | None" links under any team header to enable or clear all permissions for that team at once. Check "Include Partner / External Roles" in the panel header if you also want to customize checkbox permissions for Partner, Distributor, Press, or Agency roles.

Their account is created as ACTIVE and login credentials are emailed automatically.

04.3Changing a User’s Team or Role

05

Portal Access Requests & Automated Credential Emails

Onboarding
Open Access Requests →

Visitors who need access to restricted brand packs or internal tools can submit an application at /request-access. All applications appear in Admin → Access Requests (/admin/requests).

05.1Step 1 — Filter & Inspect Applications

Use the status filter buttons (ALL, PENDING, APPROVED, REJECTED) or the search bar to locate an applicant by name, email, or company.

05.2Step 2 — Select the Target Team or Partner Role ("Grant:" Dropdown)

In the "Company & Assigned Tier" column, choose which role to assign upon approval: Super Admin, IT Team, Marketing Team, Internal Team, Partner, Distributor, Retail Partner, Press, or Agency.

Pages & Content Management (Visual CMS & Raw JSON Editor)

Content CMS
Open Pages & Text →

Admin → Pages & Text (/admin/pages) is synced with all public frontend pages, enabling Marketing and Super Admin teams to edit headlines, brand stories, fragrance notes, guidelines, and images without code changes.

06.1Selecting a Page Module to Edit

In /admin/pages, click "Edit Content" next to any page module (e.g., home, brand, fragrances, logo-guidelines, colours, typography, imagery, training). Click "Preview" to open the live page in a new tab.

06.2Using the Visual Editor vs. Raw JSON Mode

By default, structured pages open in "Visual Editor" mode with clean form fields, collapsible item cards, and "+ Add" buttons to add new items or paragraphs. Advanced admins can click "Raw JSON" at the top right of the editor card to inspect or edit the underlying JSON structure directly.

06.3Selecting Images from the Media Library or Uploading Inline

Next to every image, video, pattern, or logo URL field, click "Library" to open a visual modal of all images on the server and click any thumbnail to insert its path, or click "Upload" to upload a new file from your computer directly into that field.

06.4Publishing Changes

When you modify any field, an "UNSAVED CHANGES" indicator appears and the "Save Changes" button turns blue. Click "Save Changes" and confirm in the dialog to publish immediately to the live MySQL PageContent table.
